Dear Ghost, I read that when you exercise it blocks the production of insulin. Insulin turns into glucose. Glucose if not used turns into something else (sorry I don't remember the name) stored in your muscles. When you excersie this is used up. If you are IR then you have extra insulin so exercise is that much more important. If not used the glucose will cause you to gain weight. I have heard that IR is the root problem of PCOS. I feel better when exercising, and am more energenic. Getting back into it is the hard but well worth it. Hope this helps.
