My new insurance doesn't start for three more weeks so I'm trying to gather as much information as I can before I meet with a doctor. My question has to do with the developing fetus. My son was born with dialated cardiomyeopathy - basically his heart was enlarged and the left ventricle barely pumps. I read that PCOS can cause heart problems in women but can this extend to the fetus as well? My son's doctors have a guess on what caused his problems but they said they can't be sure, its possible it was caused by something they haven't thought of.
