Quick comment...
My RE has refused over and over again to perform the IGTT. FIrst fasting insulin
level was 13.9 (after being off bcp for 3 mos) second was 16 (after being off for
6 mos). I have now been off bcp for almost 8 mos and she will be testing fasting
insulin again at the end of september. She said that if it is 18+ she will
prescribe Met for me. I've lost 30 lbs low carbing alone but think the Met may
help as well.
