I thought of that too but it was the diet that set the stage for a successful ovulation. Ovulation is like the grand finale, well, actually just the beginning, but the two weeks she was on the diet help get everything in order hormonally so that she could ovulate, regardless if she went off the diet (but did you see what she ate when she was "off"? She was sick and hardly ate anything. I've heard of women getting their periods for the first time in years after having the flu for two weeks - only eating chicken broth. I'm gussing it must have something to do with the insulin thing. Not a lot of carbs in chicken broth! My third baby was conceived after I began a diet/exercise program in the summer of 98'. I was only on it for three weeks and only lost 6 pounds. But it must have allowed me to ovulated on my own because I became pregnant that cycle. The first two babies were clomid after 1 1/2 years of ttc each. Just my 2 cents. :)Monica At Thu, 7 Sep 2000, Christie wrote: >
