Neutragena acne formula dried me out and clinique soap was way too strong (dry flakes all over my face!..embarassing!) i have used ethnic soaps (I'm black) and found those to have too much perfume and they would break me out. So, do you know of any soaps that really help with the oily, acne infested skin? >> The best thing that I found - and recommended by my dermatologist - is Cetaphil. It can get pretty pricey for over-the-counter (though I think Nutragena is more). KMart has a store brand - AmericanFare - that is almost half the price and the exact same stuff. You don't use water with it. You smear it on your face and wipe it off with a dry washcloth. This stuff can take off anything! I didn't think it would work. It looks too simple. I use it morning and night. When I am consistant with it, it works wonders and at least clears up the worst acne. I only get very tiny, hardle noticeable ones instead of the big, very painful gross looking ones. My face was also less oily. I have tried prescription stuff - and none of that worked. Just made me feel like I always had a sunburn. Shelly N.
