Re: adopt or start clomid-- need inputFrom: mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 3 Sep 2000 17:50:28 -0700 (PDT)
My son is adopted. I tried clomid, but had problems leading to a D&C, and no more fertility drugs. My son is multi-handicapped but we didn't care. We went through DSS, which is the cheapest way to go. I would not give up one day that I have had my son. I feel that life began that day. There are allot of children out there who need parents. If you think that you could deal with a handicapped child the wait isn't so long. If you are able to take fertility drugs , I would continue to try to conceive also. It is your decision. For me, I made the right decision. My son is 18yrs now, and the light of my life.I may not have given birth from my womb, but I gave my heart the minute I heard about him. We were the rare case that bonds instantly. We still are that close. I thank God for giving me my son. He couldn't be any more mine than if I birthed him. I will pray for you to make the right decision for you and your family.God bless you and be with you now as you make your decision. Mary Yahoo! Mail - Free email you can access from anywhere!
