I'm glad it was such a positive experience for you. Perhaps don't you think it would have been nice to have base line test results to compare against when you go back at the end of September? Suppose she tests you then and one test or another is still elevated from "normal"? Say your insulin or glucose level. It could, in fact, be that your level has gone down several point even though it still is above "normal", but you won't be able to tell. You have no point of reference.

Hey, I'm no doc, but I am comforted that I have base-line test results upon which my doctor and I can compare my improvement (or not) come my return visit in October.

Just a thought.
