Hi there Alicia and welcome to the boards.I am a newbie myself and am glad to offer any support i can.I am also 5'5 and weight 245,im 24 married no kids. YET!.Its hard to be so short but so big.So i know how you feel in that aspect of things Alicia.I am just beginning the glucophage and dont know what to expect.I am not sure that low carbs are the CURE so to speak.But it can help with the energy levels and such.I am new to this myself and am still searching for answers.So if you want to talk anytime,e-mail me.Good Luck.
