Are your hunger pangs comming after a meal or a few hours later. It maybe that you are not getting enough calories. I found that once I started low carbing (on sugar busters, so it is more low glycemic than low carbs) I could eat much more food than I used to on low fat or low calorie. I have also found that quite often my hunger pangs can be due to thirst not a need for food, wierd I know.
