Christie..

Not sure what you are trying to keep your carb levels at, but, when I started I went pretty much "cold turkey!!" NO breads, pastas, potatoes. No sweets, fruits, little veggies. I have gradually worked a few of them back into my diet. I also drink LOTS & LOTS of water each day....at least 4 48oz bottles!!!!! This may also have helped to reduce those feelings of starvation. You may want to try saving up all your carbs for the last meal of the day...that may help. One other thing that helped me very much...no snacking...3 meals a day and I was satisfied!!

Good Luck! :-) Alexis
