I think the best thing we can do is not be ashamed of PCOS. After all, it ISN'T our fault. We didn't do anything to "get" PCOS. Yes, it is difficult and embarrassing to talk about. But, I think the more we openly discuss this syndrome, the more information will get out there, and in turn the medical community will HAVE to stand up and take notice. Plus, if we talk about it to everyone, then somewhere along the lines we will help someone get the diagnosis they need. The more diagnosis there are, the more doctors are going to have to study it. And yes, hopefully someday we can all participate in a "National PCOS Awareness Month" or something of that nature. :) Love,
