Mel,

I know what ya mean. My appointment is Friday. Whew, I sometimes sweat thinking about it. BUT, I am going PREPARED. I am taking information with me, I am writing notes that ONLY I can see that I will ask the doctor about. One this notepad I have also written things like "This is not your fault, weight gain is part of the disease. You have the information to back that up" And I do. I have pamphlets and printouts. If I receive ANY argument this time, I will shove it under his nose. If I still receive it, I will leave. BUT I am starting to believe that without total control, and total self confidence, I will not be ready. So, maybe I will meditate before :) I have a mantra I will say, "I will get control of my body" OK, I have that part pretty well in hand. Now the hard part, all those personal tests, I don't know about you guys, but that is scaring the hell out of me. :)
