Hi, Laura,

I answered one of your posts on the pco medication forum. I know things seem bleak at the moment. But hang on...Get a second oppinion - PCOS is not a sterility sentence! Your doctor may not know what s/he is talking about. Many women have been given this false information as well. There is so much out there that wasn't even available 3-5 years ago to treat PCOS, and PCOS/endometriosis related infertility. Get that second opinion- you may be getting yourself all upset for naught! There is hope for you! Get to a doctor who know about pcos, preferrably a reproductive endocrinologist. Hang in there! Try to keep a level head- don't do anything rash that you might regret later like forcing boyfriend into parenthood, that may end up being your life's biggest regret! We're here for you, too. Keep us posted. I'll keep you in my prayers. p.s. I'm 35, had undiagnosed pcos since I was 15. Just got a diagnosis THIS summer after my third baby boy turned 1. I was put on clomid for the first two babies and no one ever said anything about PCOS! See how far the medical community has come in just 5 years (your currnet doc may not be up to speed)!
