I was having an incredibly terrible time taking Zoloft when I first started. My doctor finally told me that the side effects peak 4-5 hours after you take the medication. Problem nearly solved. I took it before I went to bed and slept through the worst of it (well, after I got through the first few days of insomnia :o) I still suffered through some of the side effects, but not the worst parts.
