2 hour insulin at 175

my endocrinologist just called and told me that my insulin levels were at 175 2 hours after a high carbohydrate meal. He said this is only moderately high (he compared it with "someone with real problems" at 800,000). He sees a young woman who is managing her symptoms after only dealing with the exremes for a few years. but it's getting so much worse! The only thing that has stopped him from saying "you don't have a problem" based on my not-extraordinarily high blood tests are my physical symptoms. SIGH.

Comparatively, is 175 only minor insulin resistence? Is it enough to start throwing things out of whack?
