Hi Tina! I just wanted to tell you that I too have been suffering from an unexplainable pain on my left side under my rib for years. The problem is that when my doctor checks me out you know how they feel your abdomen by pressing your organs it never hurts or he feels nothing unusual. So he rules out anything being wrong. Finally this summer he sent me for a chest and rib x-ray which were both normal. I cannot believe I found someone else with the same problem. I was really up to the point where I thought that I was creating the pain by thinking about it so much. I drive my husband crazy complaining and I even yelp when my baby or he press me there with too much force. My question is what can we do? Let me know if your doctor is more helpful than mine. Or if you know what tests we can do to check our pancreas'. Also, do any other ladies suffer from this or have any advice?
