IS anyone else bothered by this or just me? I am curious. Isnt it well known PCOS causes weight gain? I am so tired of these old outdated attitudes being forwarded. Just lose weight and youll be all good. Its your fault ladies you are a hairy, black-brown sploth fat mess. Just exercise and eat right , diet strictly and it will all be grand! and you will be perfect! I wish this person knew what my reality had been, going from a NORMAL active person......to gaining weight losing hair and having their body go absolutely HAYWIRE in a span of less than three years. black blotches, buffalo hump, thyroid disease and all. I guess Im offended. Goodie gum drops for her and all thats it all gone but I doubt she was ever really PCOS to begin with.

The reason Im upset is I went years without treatment and tests because of those attitudes. Oh your losing hair cause you are fat. Oh you are bald cause you are fat. EVERYTHING was because I was fat! NO HELP NO TREATMENT! and I ALMOST DIED !!!!!!!!!!!! thyroid pills stopped the immense gain 2 years ago and has continued slowly with the loss.. Aldactone is knocking off weight along with those as I sit here!

I am so tired of this. Does anyone take this disease seriously!!!!????? I wish I had had CUshings and this shocked my doctor when I told him this at least my pain would have been taken seriously and not seen as "my fault"
