I have found that eating NO carbohydrates makes me lose water. (then weight) But in the first week, it is water weight and it's really effective. Keep it lean though, and remember ......drink lots of water, and NO carbohydrates. Not even whole grains.

If you don't want to do that, try swimming. I always go swimming immediately after a flight; it brings those puffy ankles and calves right back to normal. I have NO idea why......but it doesn't seem to work as well in a pool that's overheated; the water has to be cool. Do it every day...keep your legs moving.....and keep your hands low in the water if they're bothering you. (my theory is that it's related to compression as well as coolness)
