Insulin Level - 25: can you still get pregnant??

I went to my doctor's last week for a follow-up and my doctor and I discussed me conceiving. We decided to start the process. I have been on MET for about a month and half. We decided to go with the provera, then clomid, then a shot of HCG and insemination.

I got my follow-up blood work back and my insulin had gone down to 25 from 31. Friday niht the doctor called and left me a message saying that my insulin was still high and I needed to go see him. I called him and asked that he just call me instead ( ilive an hour away and I also work full-time and with the insemination process around the corner I didn't want to miss more work). Well anyway he hasn't called me back yet, I guess I am scared that he is goning to say I have to wait to start trying to get pregnant.

Has anyone out there gotten pregnant with insulin levels higher thatn 25 and was your pregnancy succesful?

Angela
