Re: Ovary Pain

Hi there. I was just recently diagnosed with PCOS in April and have been having the same pain---mostly right ovary side, but I get it on both. I was told that this is because of the many cysts on my ovaries which are bulging through the ovary surface, causing pressure and thus, the horrible pain. I experience the pain regularly, doesn't matter if it's during or near my period (I never had a problem with NOT having my periods; I have the exact opposite w/ heavy bleeding, even though I'm now regulated thanx to the pill). I'm still learning about PCOS and possible treatments, but am not on ANY medication. I was told there are NO treatments; nothing whatsoever I could do about the condition, pain, or hair growth. I was obviously told a big lie, so I am looking into this on my own. I hope what little info. I can provide is helpful, considering I'm very new to all of this. Good luck to you.
