Insulin Down...Is there hope??From: Angela (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 3 Aug 2000 10:54:32 -0500 (CDT)
I just got back my insulin test after being on MET for about a month an half. It was 31 and now 25. I guess I am a litte confused. My doctor thought 31 was very high, but on this board I see numbers as high as 100. What does this all mean. I just started the process to try to conceive, started the provera a couple of days ago, when my period kicks in I'll will start the clomid from the 3-7 days. Then on the 11 day I go for an ultrasound to fiond out if anything is happening. I egg in the ovary is 18mm in size I'll do the HCG shots, the go in for insemination 2 days in a row. I guess with my insulin still up there I am concerned. Has anyone concieved with there insulin still high? ANother thing I read on this board is that it seems whos ever done insemination has a boy. Not always true of course. But after reading a boy on gender selection, is it becuase the sperm are put right there that it seems that boy sperm gets there first. Any experiences with any of the above I would appreciate.
