Hello, I was just diagnosed with PCOS in the last month. I have had a awful time in being diagnosed. I am 23 years old and was misdiagnosed since I was 16. I recently changed doctors and that's when I finally found out what was wrong with me. My old doctor kept telling me that the (30pound) weight gain in two days was all in my head. I also, am fighting the battle with facial hair, that just seems to keep getting darker. It is so depressing at times, especially when I can never fit into the same outfit twice in one week. My stomach looks as though I was pregnant, but I'm not. I get so tired of always fighting this extra weight that when I don't fit into something I just sit down and cry. In a few months my husband and I are going to start the process with fertilty drugs. I would appreciate any information you could give me. I would also just like to talk to people about all of the problems associated with this. I live 45 minutes away from Sacramento, CA, so if any of you are near please let me know.Thank you.
