well i would assume that they are. i mean the entire adrenal system is interrelated. i know you should not take met if your hypothyroid is uncontrolled.....as far as medication interactions. i ask my doc, but you can also check http://www.webmd.com go through the consumer link, type glucophage in the search and go for it. it tells you what interactions there and when not to take the med. it is actually very clear. i hopw this helps you! love,paula
