In my opinion, the first thing you should do is get a good doctor(incl.. maybe an endocrinologist, or whatever you may need). It doesn't sound like the one you've got is all that up to date on this, though perhaps you could take along some literature for him or her. Otherwise, use this site to do an archive search for doctors in your city. Or post us a message telling us what city you're in (or near).
