apologize in advance for the explicit nature of this post. I have been debating on whether or not to talk about it, but it is something that has been bothering me. So here goes.. When I was born I had a head full of hair..literally. On my ears, forehead, etc. And then around 5 I developed a large amount of pubic hair both under my arms and in my vaginal areas. Mind you this was when = I was five years old! Has anyone else had this experience? Sorry about the explicit details, Lori

Welcome to my world Lori!!!! About 5 it started but by age 9 it was there in DROVES. Pubic hair, hair up the "crack", armpit hair, line of hair from pubis to bellybutton. I got beaten, pointed at and shunned so much by my peers in gym class I was suicidal for a while. I was beaten bloodly while 2 teachers looked on when I was 17. I had my 5th grade teacher take me into the girl's room and ask me to strip. She didn't believe the hair stories. She was also sure I was stuffing my bra. Training bra, what's that????I don't remember. One summer I woke up a 36A and worked my way up to 44C!!!!! today. I also had severe growing pains, intense bleeding where I was out of school for days, a local gyno put me on tranquilizers for over 5 years....(another long story). The leg hair is ridiculous still but since I am on Met seems a teeny bit better. I am still shaving my face (thank god I am fair skinned).

I found out in 1966 I had a problem, no one quite knew what KIND of problem, which every doctor told me was mental until 1975 when the doctor who delivered me told my mom (I went 300 miles to see him and get a consult.. he was teacher and not practicing by then) I had a hormone imbalance. The years of depression, OCD, suicidal feelings and wonderful symptoms really get to you when it has been going on so long.

I never took Spiro. My endo is going slow with me and meds because I am so sensitive. But Met and Synthyroid (I had a low thyroid test recently) seem to be helping somewhat more than anything else. Plus the low carbing helps too.

But to answer your question to the hair - YES. BTW - my brother looks like a bear, profuse body hair EVERYWHERE.
