molly... my mother was 39 when she had me. and, i was the last of 5...closet is age in 10 years older..so, maybe i was the "oops." anyway, i don't think it's too old to be a mom. i feel that even though i missed out on some things with her...we are now closer than ever. in elementary school i can remember the office calling for me when she would come to pick me up & it was always "Alexis, you're grandmother is here..." at that age, kids tend to be embarrased about things like that...which i was at the time. but, now (like i said) my mother and i are closer than ever...she is my best friend. :-) alexis
