I saw really dramatic results at 100 mg. Acne cleared up, scalp hair thickened, facial hair thinned, general skin texture is better. Within a year, Testosterone went from the 80's to 20's.

I am starting 150 mg as I am also on an arthritis medication, Celebrex, that causes fluid retention. Aldactone is primarily a diuretic that just so happens to supress androgens.

An interesting trivia tidbit about Aldactone, it is strong stuff, they give it to pre-op male to female transsexuals to supress Testosterone! I have a TS friend who is on it and who even goes to the same RE clinic as I do! And if that drug can feminize a manly man, there is no doubt it can rein in our androgen levels!
