First ask for samples from your Dr. Bristol-Myers is known for being very generous with their samples. I was able to get 6 weeks of samples (YMMV). If you can get the Dr. to write for 3 months worth of meds you will save on the pharmacy's dispensing fee (often $5-20 per rx). For me, a 3 month supply of 500mg tabs (taken 2x a day) is just over $100. Yes it may be a bit harder to come up with $100 VS: $50 or $60 but you will save in the long run.
