Re: Michele...Molly... Skin Tags

I have had a number of skin tags predominately on my face and neck and have them removed regularly. The little tags which start out small grow and grow and turn into big, ugly, mole like growths. My insurance covers the procedure, only if they are a medical bother, i.e. getting snagged on my jewelry. The dermatologist sprays them with liguid nitrogyn and in a few days they scab over and in a week or so they're gone. It is fairly painless and really doesn't cost much if you don't have insurance. I was waited in by a clerk oneday, an older woman, 60's, and all around her eyes she was covered with skin tags in various stages. They were really bad! I, ve also heard there is a link between skin tags and intestinal polyps and for me there is. When they are small there is less discomfort in removal rather then when they enlarge.
