I am still confused-what should I eat?!

I have been reading through all the messages and I am still confused as to how many carbs to eat per day. Some have mentioned that their dietition has recommended 30% of calories(which on a 1200 calorie diet is 360gms/day)and others mention much lower levels like 30-60/day. That is a BIG difference and I would find it much easier to live with 360/day than 30-60/day. Also, if I can have 360gms/day, why can't I have pasta, rice, potatoes, as long as I am keeping track and not going over my limit. Another question is for example: One 3/4 cup of cocoa pebbles cereal has 26carbs-13gms are sugar and the other 13gms are 'other carbohydrates'. What is 'other carbohydrates'? Are they bad for me,too? Do all the carbs I eat have to be complex carbs? I am sorry that I am so full of questions! I want to try to eat right and be healthier, but I just wish there was a specific pcos diet that was universal! I see my RE on the 31st and will see if he has any ideas. Thanks in advance for your input. You are all so helpful! Tracy
