I know that I cannot ask if my doctor made a correct diagnosis-- but I am wondering how common it is for someone to have Polycystic Ovarian Disease without showing many of the symptoms. Specifically, are hormone levels generally sufficient for diagnosis even if things like obesity, facial hair, etc are not present? I'm just wondering how common it is for someone with POD not to show any external symptoms?
