Yes, I've had lots of pelvic pain. It was worst -- crippling; I'd have
to leave whatever room I was in and sit by myself doubled over and in a
sweat somewhere -- leading up to the diagnosis, when I was 21 (I'm 45).
I was told it was from multiple bursting follicles. I had a bilateral
ovarian wedge resection surgery at the time, the predecessor of today's
cauterization procedures. I'm not sure if it did any good or not. I've
been on antiandrogens and bcp's for some time. I still get occasional
pain, but ignore it. I'm not, hwoever, trying to conceive, and it only
happens once in a while.
All the best and take good care -- Alina
