I started on Met on the 15th of June. I had the bad stomach problems when I upped my dose each week. I am now on 2000mg and I do still have some diarrhea, but not as nasty as it was before. I do not have the nausea anymore. Oh, and I actually got my period the after only 1 week on met. Now if it comes ontime next month, then maybe I am getting somewhere!!!!

I have tried numerous times to take glucophage, and believe that I am one of the few that cannot tolerate it, even in small doses. Each time I try it, I have severe stomach problems that take more than a week to susbide. I am going to ask my doctor for an alternative. Anyone else experience this? If so, what alternatives did your doctor lay out? Thanks for sharing!
