It's wonderful that you have come to the point in life that you can live with your infertility but for those of us only on the beginning of the road, who may have a very viable opportunity at conceiving, the insensitivity arrives when we are told that the ability of a man to get an erection is more important than our ability to become a mother. And that insurance will cover the medication for his needs but that my need to create a human being to love and cherish is somewhere on the ladder below his sexual satisfaction. I for one am not willing to "live with" this. It may have been one persons stupid comment but it sums up an industry's attitude. If the day comes that I find out no matter of intervention will help me have a child, then and only then, through my faith, I will accept it but I don't think that was the point of everyone's outrage.
