PCOS doctor referral needed in Milwaukee!!

Hi all! was recently confirmed with PCOS by labs and ultrasound. My ob/gyn was impressed how "textbook" the ultrasound looked and then when I asked questions about the research I'd done on websites such as this said he wouldn't recommend my doing much about it other than taking birth control to correct my 3 year lapse in periods... unless I wanted to become pregnant. He then commended me on my research and left the exam room. Sooooo... I went back to my primary care physician and she (being a very helpful caring doctor!) admitted she didn't know too much about it and wrote me a blank referral to any doctor I choose to see. She suggested a reproductive endocrinologist.

I'm thinking that my best bet would be to call around and ask each nurse/doc what their approach to the syndrome is... anyone know of any doc's in the Milwaukee, WI area that are proactive and caring?

thanks for your time!
