I know what you mean about the sugar cravings - they are awful, aren't
they??
Originally my intent was to follow a low carb diet, a la Carb addicts,
but I lasted 2 days on that and the withdrawls were shocking. So, after
talking it over with my husband, I decided the first step was to wean
myself off of refined sugar - ice cream, chocolate, sodas, jam, not even
a half spoonful in my tea! I HAVE been eating fruit and bread - lots of
fruit and bread! it is the only thing that makes my cravings bearable.
Eventually, I would like to give those a bit of a rest too, but for now,
just cutting out refined sugar is working for me. I feel wonderful!
I hope this helps!
