Re: GREAT LOW CARB SITEFrom: Avalos (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Jun 2000 10:09:36 -0500
OK, everybody... after looking at this site, I am convinced that we can low carb & not even feel like it (except for the part where we shop online to get the low-carb products....) I am completely bowled over by this site..... The gourmet lover in me is in a state of nirvana, thinking YESSSSSSSSSS! Theresa, you are my new goddess.... Thank you, thank you thank you for finding this site and sending it to us! May you have a wonderful weekend and a great fourth of July!!!!!!!! I think the best website I saw was http://www.lowcarbluxury.com. She has recipes, tips, and a whole bunch of links to different companies that produce and sell low-carb items; such as bread, muffin and pancake mixes, pasta, ICE CREAM (YAY!!!), Splenda sweetened Diet Rite, MARGARITA MIX, Dr. Atkins and DaVinci products, and much, MUCH more!!!! There is also a link to purchase Splenda and KetoSweet, 2 ZERO-carb sugar substitutes, which can be used for baking, and even sweetening beverages!! I know myself, I'm going to be printing ALOT of those recipes out...she had some chicken recipes (Chicken Cordon Bleu, and a dish called Drunk Chicken!) that sounded excellent!! My hubby will never know they're low carb!!! Hope I helped some of you!!!
-- big hugs to all ~@theresa@~
