It does not seem like you are bleeding so much that you should worry about anemia. It seems like this is more of an aggravation than anything. I do not know what the reason for this kind of period would be other than the PCOS. When you start the met, hopefully you will a period that is more cleansing. Until then, the only advice I can offer is for you to remember to drink lots of fluids to help the cells in your body stay hydrated.
