Yes, those of us who suffer from PCOS do have a higher risk of miscarriage. I have had at least 6 miscarriages...two in the past year. The reason is that we don't have enough progesterone to sustain the pregnancy. How far along are you? I am very sorry for your loss and your pain and I can SO relate with where you are at right now. You need to have your progesterone levels checked. I have been trying to conceive on Clomid since November....no luck. My doctor checked my progesterone levels on Cycle Day 4 or 5 and then again on day Cycle Day 20. This will give your doc information about whether to support you with progesterone shots or suppositories.

Also, Metformin is supposed to help us not only conceive, but also support the pregnancy. Good luck...and keep me posted on how you're doing!
