Eat a high carb diet for the 72 hours before the test and the insulin/glucose part should be fine. It would take a little longer than that for anything else (like testosterone) to get back to where it would normally be. If your dr. is going to do the IGTT (glucose tolerance test with insulin levels) you should be fine.
