Hi Ladies, I just wanted to inform you of my first visit with the RE in Mississippi. It was quite an ordeal getting everyone together, kids to grammies, and dh ready, etc then drive 2 1/2 hours, but we did ok. Dh took the day so he could be with me, I thought that was sweet especially since he has had a time understanding PCOS. My new Dr. was wonderful. He is putting me on Met at 500 mg a day to begin with. He also warned me that if I'm not careful I might just get pregnant. =) That would be wonderful, since we have been trying for 5 years. This is the first time I have ever felt a " Partnership" with a Dr. He wanted me to be sure I understood the longterm risk of PCOS, and was very thorough. He also let me know in a non- judging way I need to take better care of myself. I was amazed they even got me in, since I didn't show up on the computer as having an appt. today. Everyone was just absolutely wonderful to us, Dh got to come in for the whole visit, and even saw my ovaries, via ultrasound. The Dr. was wonderful about insurance and everything. So I go back and 6 weeks, and hopefully by then I should be having good results with the Met. I'll let you know how everything goes soon. Thought you might all want to know, there are physicians out there who don't think they are God, and are willing to listen and help.

Blessings, Angel
