Heather--It's good to build up on the dosage, but that seems way too fast. It seems I recall reading that some stay on 500mg for a few weeks and gradually increase from there. It is definitely a medication that you need to do slowly. Those side effects are normal, but may be lessened if you are able to slow down with dosage increases somewhat.
