Secondary Amenorhea

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for ways to treat secondary amenorhea. I have been suffering from amenorhea since I was 15 years old and I am currently 24 years old. I'm in fairly good shape and I definitely do not work-out too much, as sometimes is the case for secondary amenorhea. My previous gynecologist had me take birth control pills and said that when I wanted to become pregnant I would be able to other pills to make me ovulate. I am wondering if anyone has had similar suggestions made by their gynecologist. My previous gynecologist also found nothing wrong with my hormone levels and he checked other vitals as well. The only problem that he found was that I was not ovulating and the reason(s) were never found. Besides working out too much and being extremely underweight, what are other reasons why a healthy woman does not ovulate for approximately ten years? I would appreciate any help or suggestions that anyone can give me.
