Way to go, Sonnet! You know, my dr., when he prescribed glucophage for me, told me to follow a diabetic diet rather than a low-carb one...perhaps because I'm one of those who doesn't need to lose weight...but I notice that the main (perhaps only) thing changed from my regular eating style is--NO SUGAR. Guess what? I feel great, and I'm not having any hypoglycemic attacks anymore like I did occasionally during those weeks that I low-carbed. Not a "too hard to follow" plan, either. JOY!
