I am in london and have been living with PCOS for 2 yrs now, at first i was almost symtom less apart from really irregular periods that never returned after aa couple of years on the pill. I spent a yr or so just hoping it would go away.. but it never did..I was eventually given dianette which was ok, but it gave me nasty migraines, and may me feel sick! I eventually came off the dianette, but i have to say that i didn't remember the hairloss getting worse or better on or off the dianette. I know that it is hard to make PCOS progress in the UK I bought a new book at the weekend written by Colette Harris and Dr Adam Carey called PCOS, published by Thorsons (spelling). it is really interesting read telling you how to manage external factors, like diet that influence PCOS.. definately worth a read.
