1.) You should be very aware of your blood sugar levels just in case it is PCOS. The major risk to this pregnancy (based on the information in this post)is the risk of having PCOS and the related insulin problems which could cause a very large baby. A large baby can have abrasions from the delivery and then develope infections. It is obviously much harder on the mother. You should be fine.

2.) No, especially if you are under the care of a good OB.
