Hello all!! Well, I made another appointment. I had done some searching on the Net, looking for PCOS friendly doctors. I also searched the archives here on this forum for doctors in MI. I found one endo in particular, who is well known, has published many articles on treatment of IR with Met, takes my insurance, is pretty close to me, and one of the cysters here on the forum has had good results with him. I figured it would take a few weeks, even months to get an appoinment with him. Well ladies, God was looking down on me. I was able to schedule an appointment with him for NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!! :o) I decided that I'm going in there, not to discuss my infertility issue, but tell him I have suspicions of PCOS, show him the results from the 1st RE I saw, and the letter she wrote to my PCP suggesting he treat me with Met, and hopefully he'll agree. My PCP called me today and offered to start me on 500mg of Met, but I asked him if we could wait till after this appt. (He didn't even know what the proper doseage would have been. I think I'll feel more comfortable with someone who knows how much, how often, etc....) Thanks for all your support ladies...my hubby says he thinks I'm getting addicted to this board!!!! He asked me tonite how many time I log on to read the messages a day!!! I think I AM addicted!!!!LOL
