The doctor rang and said he will see her next week, but to come and pick up the Metformin tonight, start tomorrow! At last a result. To all those who know they have a problem...insist! persist! No doctor would test for IGTT because the Gloucose was normal...we just lucked out with this GP who didnt really think it was necessary but agreed partly because of our insistance.
