If you have to have PCOS, it is best to have it diagnosed early.

The ultrasound is nothing to be worried about. It is really quite easy. You will be able to look at the inside of your body. If the technician is good they will tell you what you are looking at. It can be facinating.

You can lose weight with PCOS. For many of us a low carb diet works. For a teen, I would not recommend a diet that is too low in carbs because you are still in a growing stage. I have noticed that the more water I drink, the more weight I lose.

The ladies here are very helpful. I myself have a teenager with PCOS so I know how hard it is for you.
