I don't get it--WINK

Well I seen my doctor today and when I told him that I had hypoglycemia he told me that there was no way that I could be insulin resistant. And if I am not insulin resistant then I am not PCOS. I thought those two went hand and hand. Now I am way confused. Needless to say I wasn't put on MET cause he said hypoglcemia can only be controlled by diet. Was he wrong or do I just need to get a clue????? Chrissy
